Today, well, today is a story of new beginnings.  I started riding with the people from Detroit Sportbikes almost as soon as I started riding a motorcycle.  When I started, the most bikes on any ride I attended that first season, was eight, I think.  It was a good feel then.  Everyone got to know everyone and it was about riding.  But, as with all good things, everybody wants to be a part of it.

On October 7th, riders from Two Wheel Forum, Wide Open Sportbikes and Detroit Sportbikes.com got together for a good "almost" end of the season ride. Time to do some maintenance. I got pretty lucky and was able to get some life out of the chain that was on my bike when I bought her. Here are some pics for the next completed mod. I got the frame sliders in today, and they were quick and easy to install. As dark black as they are, I really wish my frame and paint were black, too, but for now they'll have to do. Oh, and in case your wondering, they are there just in case I go down again. The bike will slide on those, instead of the important hard parts of the motorcycle.

Well, in 2003, my neighbor sold his jet-ski and bought himself a bike. Nothing fancy. It was a Honday CBR600F3. I would see him coming and going and just sorta think about what it would be like. Different days he would have different bikes showing up at his house.
